CO-OP TRADE

The Co-op Trade Initiative was established in 2007 to support the growth of local farmers, ranchers and food producers who wish to achieve sufficient scale of operation by expanding their distribution options. Many medium-sized farms and food processors are seriously underserved in the food system as it exists today. These farms and producers offer the greatest opportunity for positive impact in the creation of a sustainable food system, a healthy rural economy and rural/ urban partnerships. The Co-op Distribution Center is the operational hub of the CO-OP TRADE INITIATIVE.
